Delivering OpenUSD Applications to Apple Vision Pro with Roche Diagnostics, Lenovo, Synopsys, AWS, and Foxconn

At NVIDIA GTC 2026, the global community gathers to explore the latest advances in AI, accelerated computing, and OpenUSD-based development. Across the show floor, visitors can experience how production applications built on NVIDIA Omniverse Kit are delivered to spatial devices using secure, low-latency streaming.

This year, Innoactive is presenting live demonstrations across multiple partner booths. Together with Roche, Lenovo, Synopsys, AWS, and Foxconn, we are showcasing how Innoactive Spatial, built on NVIDIA Omniverse and powered by NVIDIA CloudXR 6 for visionOS, delivers OpenUSD-based applications to Apple Vision Pro in real time.

Each demonstration highlights a different industry workflow while sharing a common architecture:

  • Omniverse Kit as the developer platform

  • OpenUSD as the data foundation

  • Innoactive Spatial as the application and spatial streaming layer

  • CloudXR 6.0 as the streaming framework

Together, these technologies enable organizations to bring complex 3D applications—from engineering simulations to design reviews—directly into spatial computing environments.

Innoactive Booth #3121: Roche Diagnostics Spatial Review Workflow from Autodesk® Revit to NVIDIA Omniverse

At GTC 2026, Innoactive presents a customer story together with Roche Diagnostics, showcasing how OpenUSD-based visualization can be operationalized and deployed at scale within sales operations for complex laboratory installations.

The project focuses on enabling Roche sales teams to present customized laboratory layouts at human scale, using collaborative spatial computing sessions during live meetings. Architectural models originating from Autodesk® Revit are converted into OpenUSD assets and structured using NVIDIA Omniverse, allowing teams to configure and explore laboratory environments dynamically.

Using Apple Vision Pro, customers can experience laboratory installations spatially, while sales representatives navigate OpenUSD variants on an iPad, enabling real-time configuration of equipment layouts, room designs, and installation options.

Demo Architecture

The demonstration runs on a Lenovo ThinkStation P8 workstation equipped with NVIDIA  RTX PRO™ 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition, enabling workstation-class rendering for spatial applications. When deployed in production, Omniverse Kit based application will actually run in an AWS data center using AWS EC2-G7e instance and the spatial stream will connect via the internet to Apple Vision Pro.

In this setup:

  • Autodesk® Revit data is converted into OpenUSD and stored in Omniverse Nucleus

  • Assets visualised using Innoactive USD Suite off the shelf application, based on  Omniverse Kit

  • Rendering runs on RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs

  • Innoactive Spatial Runtime connects OpenXR applications to Apple Vision Pro

  • Innoactive Spatial for Apple Vision Pro with NVIDIA CloudXR for visionOS

  • CloudXR 6.0 streams the spatial session securely

This architecture allows enterprise applications built with Omniverse and OpenUSD to be delivered to spatial devices with low latency and secure connectivity.

Lenovo Booth #431: Immersive Automotive Design Reviews with Autodesk® VRED and Apple Vision Pro

At the Lenovo booth (#431), visitors can experience immersive automotive visualization powered by Autodesk® VRED 2027, running on a powerful Lenovo ThinkStation P8 workstation with NVIDIA RTX Pro™6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition GPUs.

The demonstration features a KIA vehicle model, showcasing how automotive design teams can extend existing VRED workflows into spatial computing environments.

Organizations often need a structured approach when introducing immersive collaboration into established design pipelines. In close alignment with Autodesk workflows and NVIDIA RTX Professional Raytracing, and NVIDIA CloudXR streaming, Innoactive provides a set of spatial solutions designed to integrate directly into professional design environments.

Adopting spatial collaboration typically evolves in stages. Innoactive supports this progression through three solutions:

  1. Immersive for Autodesk® VRED – Standard (Free): Introduces spatial visualization capabilities without financial barriers, allowing 2 concurrent users to begin exploring immersive presentation workflows.

  1. Immersive for Autodesk® VRED – Enterprise Configuration: Expands spatial collaboration with governance and structured multi-user sessions. Some capabilities include multi-user sessions for distributed design reviews, seatbucket anchoring to maintain precise seated alignment during evaluations, object tracking to improve validation accuracy when reviewing components and iPad participation, enabling stakeholders to join sessions without a headset.

Demo Architecture

The demo runs on a Lenovo ThinkStation P8 with RTX PRO™ 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition GPU.

Architecture includes:

  • Autodesk® VRED

  • Innoactive Spatial Runtime, including a plugin for VRED

  • Immersive for Autodesk® VRED app for Apple Vision Pro

  • CloudXR 6.0 streams the spatial session securely

The unified Spatial Runtime and VRED plugin installer simplifies deployment by automatically configuring firewall rules, OpenXR runtime settings, and cluster setup.

Additional capabilities include configurable render resolution, foveated rendering, and hardened service security.

Synopsys Booth: Real-Time Airflow Simulation Visualization Built On NVIDIA Omniverse

At the Synopsys booth, visitors can explore a real-time airflow simulation scenario, demonstrating how engineering simulation data can move from analysis tools into spatial review environments.

The simulation runs on a Lenovo ThinkStation P8 with RTX PRO™ 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition, highlighting how complex engineering data can be structured and visualized using OpenUSD in Synopsys Ansys Discovery, powered by NVIDIA Omniverse libraries.

Technical Workflow

The simulation pipeline includes:

  • Synopsys and Ansys Discovery simulation tools

  • Integration via NVIDIA Omniverse Kit APIs

  • OpenUSD assets by MHP

  • Rendering on RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Workstation Edition

  • Innoactive Spatial Runtime bridging OpenXR

  • Innoactive Spatial for Apple Vision Pro with NVIDIA CloudXR for visionOS

  • CloudXR 6.0 streaming

NVIDIA Omniverse Kit provides the SDKs and APIs used to structure simulation data in OpenUSD.MHP builds the overall experience in USD assets. Innoactive Spatial runtime and Innoactive Spatial for Apple Vision Pro enable engineers to review results interactively on Apple Vision Pro.

AWS Booth: Roche Diagnostics OpenUSD Sales Visualization Assets Delivered by AWS Infrastructure to Apple Vision Pro

At the AWS booth, the same Roche Diagnostics OpenUSD sales visualization workflow is presented leveraging cloud GPU infrastructure.

This configuration highlights how spatial applications built on Omniverse and OpenUSD can be deployed using AWS global and scalable cloud infrastructure.
