Faster streaming session loading time with optimized driver pre-installation
As part of our ongoing effort to reduce session loading times, we have optimized GPU driver setup during startup. No new or different action is required from end users. The expected result is shorter wait times for cloud rendering sessions across all performance tiers.
More control and flexibility with older app version support
You can now start a session using an older build of an application. This allows teams to validate legacy behavior, maintain compatibility, and prepare fallback options, all without repackaging or redeploying content.
More than last 12 months view now available in dashboard analytics
We allowed selecting more than the “last 12 months” timeframe in the Control Panel dashboard. Administrators can now compare previous years statistics, long-term trends and usage over time, generating reports that support strategic planning.
Smoother Portal experience with quality-of-life updates and bug fixes
Smoother Portal experience with quality-of-life updates and bug fixes
We've resolved several bugs and improved usability across key areas of Innoactive Portal. Improvements include accurate filtering across lists, better region selection logic, session encryption visibility, and clear DCV status in session details. We also fixed issues with reserved instances, old app versions, and date pickers.
Faster loading time with pre-installed applications on reserved instances
Faster loading time with pre-installed applications on reserved instances
Launching VR sessions is now quicker thanks to support for pre-installing applications on reserved instances. This reduces the time to install apps during session startup, significantly improving load times. Businesses running frequent or scheduled sessions will benefit from more consistent performance and faster user access. This update enhances reliability for high-demand or time-sensitive training and collaboration scenarios.
Improved management of cloud-rendering settings
We’ve introduced a new user interface for managing reserved instances and cloud rendering locations. The updated design makes it easier to monitor reserved instances, enable or disable cloud rendering locations and have a better visibility of details (local zones, cloud provider, DCV support). The result is better resource planning for teams using cloud rendering at scale.
Quality of Life Improvements: Better Stability and User Experience

Enhanced browser streaming flexibility: Early access to DCV
Enhanced browser streaming flexibility: Early access to DCV
We are happy to introduce early access to DCV technology for browser streaming. This new feature offers an alternative to our traditional WebRTC technology. DCV enhances control over audio and video quality and meets diverse IT infrastructure requirements. This early access phase is particularly suited for companies that are:
- Interested in streaming from the US or Europe (AWS regions);
- Experiencing issues with Zscaler configurations for browser streaming (DCV works via TCP and websockets and doesn’t need a UDP connection);
- Seeking higher graphic quality for their browser streaming sessions.
Info — If you are interested in testing, please reach out to us at support@innoactive.de, we will provide guidance to enable it and a detailed list of features and known issues.
General user interface improvements for a better browser streaming experience
Together with DCV early access, we also re-designed our browser streaming UI. This means that no matter which streaming technology you choose, also with our traditional WebRTC technology, you will experience a new user interface. This improvement will allow you to focus on the streamed content with a larger web viewer and less visual clutter.

Faster launch time when you need it, by creating your personal streaming server
Faster launch time when you need it, by creating your personal streaming server
With your personal streaming server, you can expect less than 30 seconds launch time per session. This is especially useful for events or customer presentations where a very fast start is needed. From your Innoactive Portal account, click on streaming, select the GPU size and the applications you want to preinstall, you will see when your personal server will be ready. You can then stop it at any time or let it stop until it reaches the safety time out limit.

If your application uses several windows simultaneously, Innoactive Portal now allows the remote user to switch from one window to another while streaming the application on their browser.
Browser Application streaming support with VPNs and Zscaler
Innoactive Portal new release now supports a wider variety of corporate IT infrastructures, including those using VPNs and Zscaler, making the browser App streaming experience more robust under challenging network conditions.
Improved latency calculation
Measuring the latency between the user browser and the data centers around to select the lowest latency can be more difficult than it seems at first sight by the essence of how a browser multitasks with many processes in parallel. By making multiple measurements and taking into account the user most used location, our new algorithm will ensure an optimal experience in particular for users who usually stream from the same location (home or office).
Improved SSO User Journey
We’ve refined the Single Sign-On (SSO) user journey for a better onboarding and login experience. The new flow offers a streamlined invitation process, enhanced email communication, and user group assignments. Additionally, users can now choose between signing in with SSO or username and password based authentication, offering more flexibility and a more intuitive experience.
Early access to encrypted VR streams
Early access to encrypted VR streams
We are pleased to introduce early access to encrypted VR streaming built with WireGuard end-to-end encryption. This update prioritizes security by encrypting not only browser streaming but also VR streaming data channels, this means enhanced protection for confidential VR meetings, VR training sessions, VR design reviews and all sensitive use-cases, ensuring compliance with most strict privacy standards.
Configurable time-out for streaming sessions
Administrators now have the capability to chose the maximum authorized duration for a streaming sessions through the Control Panel. In case a user forgets to end their VR session, it will automatically be interrupted after the maximum duration (Time out) set by the administrator.
Adjustable retention time for virtual machines after ended streaming sessions
Our retention system ensures fast subsequent streaming sessions by keeping virtual machines reserved for each user after a session was ended. To ensure better cost control, this retention time is now configurable in the Control Panel, allowing system administrators to decide for how much time a virtual machine should remain available in hot stand-by after a session has ended. By maintaining a virtual machine in hot stand-by for a set period, users can experience quicker start times for their VR sessions.
Secure browser authentication during a streaming session
